I love the kindle. It could use a light so that you don’t have to buy one.
I am however, very disappointed in the increase in the price of books for it since I purchased it. In less than a month alot of books have doubled in price. Also many are cheaper to buy the book than get it on kindle. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

When I received the product, I was a bit confused, but in the hubbub of life, didn’t doublecheck exactly what I’d ordered. I did NOT receive the “M-Edge Latitude Kindle Jacket” that I’d ordered (since checking my purchase email confirmation). Instead, I received an M-Edge Kindle TOURING SLEEVE. The one I actually have doesn’t have the ability to open all the way, has no tabs to hold the Kindle, has a much tighter pocket for the charger. This TOURING SLEEVE is padded nicely to protect the Kindle in a purse or briefcase, has the double zipper to allow charging with the sleeve on, and fits snugly without problems. A month ago, the JACKET was the same price they now ask for the SLEEVE. Was this a Bait and Switch? But since my husband liked it, and I’d thrown away the packing material, I kept it. My advise: CHECK that what you ordered is exactly what is sent to you!! Would I order again from this company? Probably not. Would I order THIS product? Maybe. My husband is happy. End of story.

I just received this today. I had trouble getting my Kindle 2 to fit. Even though I was very careful, I still felt like I was exerting a bit of undue pressure to “make it fit.”
I was displeased enough with it already that I didn’t even try to zip it up. After reading another reviewer’s comments, I think it may be a good thing I didn’t try to.
The interior of this case is a soft felt-like material which I do not like. It would be difficult to clean and I don’t like the way it feels when you touch it.
You can bend the cover back so that you can hold the Kindle more easily; however, it’s nowhere near as comfortable as simply holding the Kindle in your hands without a case.
I am going to return this ASAP and seek a better option. I may just look for a “sleeve” so that the Kindle will be protected while being moved from one place to another and continue to read it while just holding it in my hands without a case.

I bought this case with slight concern after seeing the video, but many mentioned they did not have a problem with the new global kindle fitting.
I have to agree that my global kindle fits perfectly with no strain on the zip. It is an ideal case to protect the kindle for daily use and travel when you really want to protect the screen.
Highly recommend this case if you want your kindle to last. My wife also likes that fact that she can keep her headphones in the zippered compartment.

Works well, I only wish there was a way to more safely store the charging cord without worrying it will press on the screen if something is placed on top of the case with the Kindle inside.
